CCS's Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions concerning our Events, Webinars, Workshops, Luncheons, Seminars, and Conferences

Corporate Compliance Seminars (CCS) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, CPE credits will be granted based on a 50-minute hour.

CCS is subject to laws governing collection, use and/or disclosure of personal information (e.g., GDPR), CCS acknowledges and agrees that CCS is solely responsible for compliance with all applicable requirements under such laws, including those affecting CCS's ability to share personal information with NASBA, and CCS will take all such actions as may be necessary to permit sharing and disclosing personal information contained in accreditation records requested by NASBA. Such actions may include, depending on laws applicable to CCS, notifying attendees, instructors, reviewers and others about whom CCS collected personal information that CCS may share their information with third parties for purposes including evaluating CCS's accreditation under certain continuing professional education standards. Failure to take such actions necessary to comply with applicable law shall not excuse CCS's responsibility to comply with NASBA documentation requests.

Events, Webinars, Workshops, Luncheons, Seminars, and Conferences

These terms and conditions apply to all of our events, luncheons, training courses, seminars, and conferences. The  word 'event' is used to describe all of these.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Any individual, organization or public entity that uses the Compliance-Seminars.com Website (the "Website") does so subject to these Terms and Conditions. Usage is tracked via the Google Analytics and these records will prevail as evidence of usage.

Legal Venue

All website users and event attendees agree use the Illinois State Court System with a venue in Cook County, Illinois for any and all legal actions. Illinois State law will control all contracts and legal activities.

Making an Event Registration

Any individual, organization or public entity that contacts CCS via verbal contact, telephone contact, fax transmission, email, written contact or website usage can establish an Event Registration. CCS may confirm that registration via email message or verbal confirmation. CCS personnel are the sole determinate of wheather an event reservation has been made.

Payment

Payment must be received by ten business days prior to the event.

Our preferred method of payment is via credit card using the payment processing provided on this website. If you choose to require an invoice, there maybe a $50.00 invoice processing fee.

CCS may assess a $50 fee for the preparation of an invoice. Any fees for seminars are considered past due on the date of the event. CCS can assess a $500.00 fee for each thirty days that fees are overdue. If CCS initiates a bill collection process, a fee of $250 per hour will be changed for all CCS staff time and the debtor will be responsible for all court cost and legal fees.

Cancelling a Registration

No refunds will be given. We will provide you with a credit for use within the next twelve months.

Cancellation by Corporate Compliance Seminars

We reserve the right to alter published programs, speakers, and venues without prior notice. If the event has to be cancelled altogether, we will notify you by email message at least four days in advance of the event. Our liability is limited to a full refund of the event fee only. No compensation will be paid for any other costs incurred by the attendee, such as travel or accommodation.

Corporate Compliance Seminars accepts no liability if an event is cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond our reasonable control.

Transferring Your Registration to Someone Else

If you are unable to attend, you can send someone else in your place. Please notify us in advance so that we can update our registration list.
